3 GREAT TIPS ON HOW YOU CAN CLOSE 2020 WITH PEACE

2020 has been a very hard year for the most of us. Many of us never experienced such a big world wide crisis before in their life and it shifted the energy in many households in a negative way because nobody was used before that the family was around 24/7.

But 2020 was not only bad, many of us used the time to do things that they always wanted to do and appreciated things that they already have. In today blog post, I want to talk about 5 things you should start doing before the year ends.

You should watch my video to this topic. I talk more details. Please press CC for a translation into english😊

Only in the darkness you can see the stars

1. Make your home a cozy place.

Especially for the people who had very long work days, the home was maybe only a place where you ate your breakfast and a small dinner, before hopping into the bed to sleep and wake up early and leave the house. The amount we spend at home raised significant and that has clearly many different reasons. Some of us lost their job and couldn’t find another one, because many businesses went bankrupt and don’t recruit new workers anymore. For some of us, the company was able to offer homeoffice, so the employees don’t have to come to the office.

As for myself, I work and study at home and I am really grateful for that. But there was a lot missing in my house in order to feel more cozy and comfortable. For example, My dog destroyed part of my new sofa, And I wanted to replace the sofa with a velvet one. I wanted more big cushions for guests and different more warm lightning. Pinterest really inspired me. The pictures online looked stunning and I was flashed by the ideas people had. AlthoughI couldn’t afford a big renovation, I started with small things that made big changes, like switching the light bulb in the bathroom to a much warmer light, because the other one was just way too bright. It looked like a dentists place in there. Another things I want to implement are curtains in my workroom (yes, I had no curtains for 5 years!😅) Nice curtains can make a huge difference in your living environment. I think the great part of all these things, is that you can find cheap but good quality products in the dollar store or your local furniture store like Ikea.

2. Use a planner to organize big goals you want to reach

Even though we live in times of uncertainty, we shouldn’t bury our heads in self-pity and cancel all our plans for the next 3 years. This kind of mindset can make really depressed and negative. Instead, plan things that doesn’t require travelling or something other that is external. Maybe you finally want to ride more with the bycicle.

What you can do now, is to bring out your bicycle from your garage and if you are able to, fix everything that is broken or you give it to the bicycle repair store to do a winter/spring check up. Vaccines for the virus has been developed, and you want to be vaccinated in order to be able to travel into other countries in 2021, you can plan your vacation abroad and as a plan B, you can think about what to do if the plans won’t work as planned. You can find a nice holiday weekend trip in your country.

Planning little and big things in 2021 can give you hope, joy and anticipation😊

3. Make the holidays as enjoyable as possible!

We still have Christmas and new years eve! Many days to eat and celebrate. 💕 Considering all the time we spend now at home, we should and can make the best of the situation during holidays.

It is safe to say that these holidays will be different than before. There will be no visits to fancy restaurants to enjoy Christmas dinner with the family yet. No big parties with relatives from all over the world. For many people, it will be a very difficult time. But on the other hand, we could try and enjoy the quality time with the people we share the household with and cook delicious food, sing christmas carols, dance and play games. We should not forget to reach out friends and family members who will celebrate alone. There are plenty of ways to include them- what about a virtual christmas dinner? It is different but it can be very pleasant as well.

How do you want to end 2020? Any other tips? Let me know in the comment section and check out my Youtube Video to this topic.😁

Much love,

Jenny❤️
