Why you are probably unhappy

Happieness is one of this words, that are hard to comprehend, because everybody defines happiness with different things. But I can say that probably the majority of people measure happiness with a stable job, healthy relationships, with family members, partners,friends, co- workers and a health that is in good condition.

Today, I want to give you some reasons why you are maybe unhappy.

1. You are comparing yourself with others

We all have different lives and are in totally different stages of life. Comparison is the worst thing you can do, because you will never have the exact same thing as other people. Always remember that people portray only the best versions of theirselves. You could never know what is happening behind the scenes. Even my instagram feed is full of funny and positive things, Travel places, my dog, friends, food. I never post something to serious or sad. I do have my reasons for that. My private life was always very chaotic and stressful, therefore I like to escape now and then from the reality of life. We all know that all the celebraties sacrifized alot of their privacy in order to become rich and famous. This is not always enviable. Remember that there is a perfect timing for everything in your life. When it is not know, it will come and you will be prepared to handle all the blessings you will get (and already have).

2.You have a bad diet

Unhealthy eating habits, can lead to depression. Yeah, to depression. If you eat too much junk food, you will gain weight and even get serious illnesses, like high blood pressure, diabetes and bone pain. If you want to become more satisfied with your health and body, you should change how you eat and involve some excercise into your life. There are so many studies that have shown, the impact of healthy, nutritious food and regular excercies has for your body, mind and soul. Anytime, I find myself eating crab, I feel like crab. But as soon as I start changing my diet to a more healthier way, I feel way more energetic, not so heavy anymore and I am in a better mood because of the amount of dopamine and other hormons that are released in my brain.

3. You don’t know your purpose in life

You will definetely feel unhappy when you don’t know what your goals are and where you want to head in your life. For a long time, my goals were blurred because of my external circumstances, but I want to live on this earth with as much positive experiences as possible. That means that I have to do the work to get done the things that I really want. In 2019 I started things I always wanted to do, but always were afraid of, because I don’t wanted to fail in it.

But how can we possibly grow, when we don’t even give ourselves permission to fail?

Instead of asking yourself, what if it doesn’t work out- ask yourself: But what if, it does?!

4. You have bad relationships

I talked in previous posts about the importance of healthy relationships with others. This is one of the areas, where you will see a huge difference when sort out people who are draining. People say, that you are the average of your closest five friends. I think this is partial true. It is crucial the build an environment that is uplifting, positive and where you can learn from others and share your thoughts. Nobody said that this won’t be easy but you have to remember that you only have one life on this earth. One body. One mental health. I don’t want to sacrifize my good mood, just because my loyalty to a childhood friend is so big. But when only memories are holding your friendship together and most of the time you are annoyed of this person, you know, that it is time to let it go.
